Yes. The free tier includes Slack integration, initial data sync, full dashboard with team health scores, burnout alerts, and recognition mapping. No credit card, no time limit. Pro ($49/mo) adds automatic daily syncs, team invites, weekly email digests, and unlimited report exports.

How does Hear connect to Slack?

Hear uses the official Slack OAuth flow. You authorize the Hear app in one click and it reads public channel messages to analyze team health signals. No bots in channels, no employee-visible changes.

What does Hear measure?

Hear measures team sentiment (positivity/negativity), energy (engagement level), and collaboration (teamwork signals) from Slack conversations. It aggregates these into a team health score and flags burnout risk.

Common questions

How does "up to 100 people" work?

$49/mo covers workspaces with up to 100 active Slack members. Got more than 100? Add another $49/mo for each additional 100 people. No per-seat math, no surprises.

Does my team need to install anything?

No. Hear connects via OAuth to your Slack workspace. Your team keeps working normally. Zero installs, zero behavior changes required.

What do I get for free?

Everything except daily auto-sync, team invites, weekly email digest, and unlimited report exports. Connect Slack, get your initial data import, full dashboard with team health scores, burnout alerts, recognition mapping, and invisible contributor detection. Free includes one Ask insight export per week, aligned with your weekly data refresh. Free forever, no credit card required.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your dashboard settings and you're done. No cancellation fees, no contracts, no angry retention calls.

Is our Slack data safe?

Hear stores messages from the public channels you track and scores them for sentiment, energy, and collaboration. The dashboard shows scores, never message text. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
